This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the F&B operations of our client’s properties and contribute to their legacy of exceptional service.

As the Director of Food and Beverage, you will play a pivotal role in driving F&B operations to new heights.

Candidate information/requirements:

● A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
● A track record of 3+ years in managerial roles within the hospitality industry, preferably in a multi-property setting.
● Exceptional leadership skills, coupled with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
● Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
● Financial acumen and experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
● Proficiency in hotel management systems and relevant software.
● Fluency in both spoken and written Croatian and English.

About the job:

● Permanent, full-time position
● Reporting to CEO and Group Operations Manager
● Salary is paid monthly – starting at 2.300 € net per month
● Additionally: occasional awards (Christmas bonus, vacation pay, etc.)
● Temporary accommodation could be provided
● On-site location: Rijeka, Croatia

Your key duties and responsibilities include:

● F&B Leadership: Overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations, ensuring that outlets deliver exceptional dining experiences that align with brand’s standards and values.
● Guest Satisfaction: Upholding high service standards, addressing guest concerns promptly, and utilizing guest feedback to continuously enhance offerings.
● Financial Management: Monitoring financial performance, optimizing revenue, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining a high level of service quality.
● Team Development: Leading and inspiring F&B teams, setting performance benchmarks, and fostering a positive work culture that promotes engagement and productivity.
● Quality Assurance: Ensuring adherence to industry standards, health and safety regulations, and brand requirements through regular inspections and evaluations.
● Collaborative Strategy: Partnering with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans that drive growth and operational efficiency.
