For our client, a leading Irish food and convenience retailer in the city of Limerick, Ireland, we are looking for a Gastro Department Manager / Deli Manager.
Candidate information/requirements:
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of work experience as a Gastro department/Fresh Food Manager or similar
Previous experience working in a canteen, fast food, or a restaurant
HACCP, Health and Safety, and Food Safety Protocols knowledge would be a plus
Excellent customer service, good leadership, and organizational skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers
A good level of English is required
About the job:
Permanent, full-time position
If moving to Ireland from abroad, you will be provided with two weeks of free accommodation. After that, you will be paying 500 € (utilities included) per month for a private room in the nearby area
Salary after tax in Ireland for this Gastro department Manager role will be 2.612 € – 2.793 € net per month (37.000 € – 40.000 € gross; before tax, per year) on 40 hours per week
Your duties will be: overseeing operations, inspecting food quality and display case presentation, managing food safety practices and cleaning, managing other food preparation employees, ensuring quality customer service
