For our client, a leading Irish food, and convenience retailer in Co. Cork, Ireland, we are looking for a Production Chef.
Candidate information/requirements:
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of proven work experience in a canteen, busy restaurant, or similar environment
Qualification from a culinary school is a plus
HACCP, Health and Safety, and Food Safety Protocols knowledge would be desirable
Knowledge of best practices for safety and sanitation, passion for delivering great food and service
Ability to work in fact paced environment with a high volume of food production
Intermediate level of English is required
About the job:
Permanent, full-time position
If moving to Ireland from abroad, you will be provided with two weeks of free accommodation. After that, you would be paying 90 € per week for private room in shared house + 15 € per week for utilities
Salary after tax in Ireland for this Production Chef role will be between 15.50 € – 17.00 € gross per hour, approx. 2.430 € – 2.620 € net per month (33.850 € – 37.130 € gross; before tax, per year) for 40-42 hours per week
Salary is paid weekly on an hourly basis
Your duties will be: Working with standardized recipes and menus, producing food in high volumes, ensuring the smooth-running of the production process, collaborating with the rest of the food department team to ensure high-quality food and service, stocktaking and ordering supplies for your station, keeping your area of the kitchen safe and sanitary
