For our client, a leading Irish food, and convenience retailer in Cork city center, we are looking for Food preparation workers.
● The ideal candidate will have at least two years of work experience in a customer-facing role, including (convenience/grocery) stores, as well as fast foods, canteens, etc.
● Excellent customer service, and organizational skills
● Complying with the food and safety standards
● A good level of English is required
● Permanent, full-time position
● If moving to Ireland from abroad, you will be provided with two weeks of free accommodation. After that, you would be paying between 400 € to 600 € per month for a private room in the nearby area (utilities aren’t included)
● Salary after tax in Ireland for this Food preparation worker role will be between 13.50 € to 14.00 € gross per hour, 2.080 € to 2.150 € net per month (28.080 € to 29.120 € gross; before tax, per year) for 40 hours per week
● Salary is paid weekly on an hourly basis
● Your duties will be: responsible for preparing, packaging, and serving deli products to customers, weighing and portioning food items, maintaining high standards of hygiene, greeting customers and keeping them happy, and taking orders
