For our client, a leading Irish food, and convenience retailer in Co. Limerick, Ireland, we are looking for a Deli/Bakery Assistant.
Candidate information/requirements:
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of work experience working as a bakery assistant, as well as a confectioner/assistant
Previous experience with food preparation, and bakery products (bread, pastry, cookies, sweet goods, etc.)
HACCP, Health and Safety, and Food Safety Protocols knowledge would be a plus
Strong attention to detail, organized and flexible
Able to use own initiative and work as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment
A good level of English is required
About the job:
Permanent, full-time position
If moving to Ireland from abroad, you will be provided with free accommodation for the first two weeks. After that, you would be paying 350 € per month for a private room in the nearby area
Salary after tax in Ireland for this Deli/Bakery Assistant role will be 14.15 € gross per hour, 29.432 € gross per year (2.154 € net per month) for 40 h a week
Salary is paid weekly on an hourly basis (approximately 497 € net per week)
Your duties will be: weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare the dough, baking different types of bakery products, shaping dough to prepare different types of pastries, including croissants, cookies, and sweet rolls, tracking food supplies, and placing orders, as needed
